Cloud

Cloud is a virtual environment composed of hardware (such as servers, communication channels, and network equipment) and software (including virtualization software). The primary purpose of the cloud is to provide remote users with access to information.

There are three main types of clouds:

  • Private Cloud: Virtual environments set up by companies or organizations for their own internal use, typically for corporate purposes.
  • Public Cloud: Virtual environments where the owner offers cloud access services to anyone who wishes to use them.
  • Hybrid Cloud: A combination of private clouds integrated with public cloud environments.

The key benefits of cloud computing include enabling users to access data from any internet-connected device and ensuring data security through the cloud’s high fault tolerance.
