Cluster

A cluster is a group of servers, data storage systems, or other hardware resources that work together as a unified system. Advances in networking technology have enabled the efficient integration of hardware across geographically dispersed locations. For instance, in a cluster setup, one server might be located in Germany, another in the Netherlands, and a third in the United States. Despite this distribution, the infrastructure appears unified to its users.

The core principle of cluster operation is redundancy. Even if one or more components fail, the system as a whole remains operational. Cluster management relies on specialized orchestration software, which ensures data synchronization and enhances data transfer speed across the system.

Clusters are designed not only to enhance security but also to boost system performance. Unlike traditional network infrastructures, which can face limitations in scaling, cluster setups allow for seamless capacity expansion by adding additional hardware resources.
